2024 Black Studies Celebration Dinner

The Department of Black Studies held their inaugural End-of-Year Celebration Dinner as a department on May 2nd. The well-attended dinner celebrated the 13 graduating senior Black Studies minors (Anaudia Abston-Lopez, Aliyat Adeboye, Natalia Anderson, Emily Antunes, Isabel Arnout, Francilliana Barbosa, Anastasia Husset, Kim Hussey, Spencer Johnson, Kay-Lee Mendes, Jennifer Merandisse, Nallely Perez, and Diane Polanco).

Departmental awards were also presented at the celebration. Spencer Johnson received the Mary McLeod Bethune Award, and Aliyat Adeboye received the Amílcar Cabral Freedom Award.
